I had no one to talk me out of despair and that was a mistake. You need to keep people close. You need to give them access to your heart.
Charley Benetto, For One More Day
...there's a story behind everything. How a picture got on a wall. How a scar got on your face. Sometimes the stories are simple, and sometimes they are hard and heartbreaking. But behind all your stories is always your mother's story, because hers is where yours begin.
- Charley Benetto, For One More Day
Just finished reading For One More Day by Mitch Albom. Gila ya tuh orang. Keren banget :)
Seperti dua buku Mitch Albom sebelumnya -'Tuesdays with Morrie' dan 'Five Paople You Meet in Heaven'- buku ini menyinggung kematian (dan seiring itu juga kehidupan), old folks, past-present, love and self forgiveness.
To tell you the truth, for some reasons, I'm not really a big fan of 'Tuesdays with Morrie' (or is it because I only read the translated version ya? :p) but I reeeally love the other two books, especially this last one. Even after I closed the book, the story echoed in my heart.
